The Van's in Manhattan (and we're in LA)

I have not updated this since we got to New York. It's been a struggle; multiple shows a day, finding parking for a 15 passenger van, loading and unloading. Show at Delancey last night was really really good.

These pictures are scattered but I tried to keep it in chronological order.

Here's Mike's mom's place on Long Island. It was my first time out there and it's really pretty.

Jason's been here for a few days already, staying with his buddy in Queens. He's going to drive back to California with us.

This little tile 8-bit graffiti monster follows me everywhere I go. The first time I saw one was on the side of the road in France with my parents. Then three weeks later I saw one on the wall of the laundromat in Silver Lake, then Jesse started pointing out more of them on Beverly Boulevard. This tiny orange one, one of the smallest I've seen, was on the building across the street from Pianos. Here's their website a world invasion by the space invaders

Here's the first one I ever saw, in France...

We're flying the new Virgin American back to LA for one show downtown. This airplane is nuts! It has discotheque lighting (purple and pink flourescent track lights) and 9 inch monitors in the back of every seat. You can chat via text with people in any seat, play video games, watch tv, make music playlists... Or go to sleep.
