Los Angeles and Southern California are dotted by spiky, curvy relics of mid-20th century architecture. The Blue Sky Motor Lodge, 76 Gas in Beverly Hills, Sambo's in Santa Barbara, Astro's Family Coffee Shop in Silver Lake all come to mind.
